PLANNED PUBLICATIONS/WORK IN PROGRESS:
Assimakis Tseronis and ChF hosted,, together with Chiara Pollaroli, a panel on visual argumentation at the IPrA conference 2015 in Antwerp. Selected papers are planned to be published in *International Review of Pragmatics* in 2017.
Assimakis Tseronis and ChF have moreover submitted the ms. of an edited volume provisionally called *Multimodal Argumentation and Rhetoric in Media Genres* at Benjamins in the Winter of 2016/2017. The ms. is currently being reviewed.

Under the supervision of ChF, Roel Bogers, Tina de Groot, Marion van der Poel, and Nienke Schipper, made a short (2'31") educational animation film called "The art of storytelling (part II, June 2016): places,” which can be accessed at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gdlSrpvjIEQ. Part I focuses on characters.
The next film in the series (on "time") is envisaged for 2017,
ChF is working on a monograph applying Relevance Theory to mass-communicative pictures/visuals. Its working title is *Visual and Multimodal Communication: A Pragmatic Model.*
